Advance Application for Admission Fee Waiver for Persons with Disabilities

People with disabilities who have a Physical Disability Certificate, Intellectual Disability Certificate, or Mental Disability Certificate issued in Japan are entitled to free admission alongside one caregiver. For large groups of people with disabilities visiting from a hospital or other welfare facility, it is possible to apply in advance for the admission fee waiver by submitting the relevant application form (入園料免除申請書; Japanese only) in advance. Those interested should fill in the application form and send it to the following e-mail address or physical mail address at least one week prior to visiting. The form can also be submitted in person.
The application form should be completed and submitted by the person in charge of the visiting facility. When the application is approved, the applicant will receive an “admission fee waiver approval notification” via e-mail.
Please show the original approval notification e-mail to entrance gate staff when you arrive.
*Only those with certificates issued in Japan are eligible for free admission.
*Please make sure to include the e-mail address of the applicant (person in charge of the facility) on the application form.
