Access to Parking Area (Located Next to the Okido Gate)

Visitors coming to the parking area from the direction of Shinjuku should proceed along National Route 20 toward Yotsuya, then go straight across the Shinjuku Yonchome intersection (Meiji-dori) and continue straight along the Gyoen Tunnel side road while keeping Shinjuku Gyoen on their right. (Do not enter the tunnel.) The entrance to the parking area is at the end of the road on the right-hand side.

Please refer to the following page for a guided explanation with images (Japanese only).
■Guidance on Using the Okido Parking Area (The National Gardens Association website)

During the cherry blossom and fall foliage seasons, the parking area gets extremely crowded, so please use public transportation whenever possible.
