G20 Energy-Climate Communiqué Mentions Platform for Redesign 2020

On 23 July 2021, the Joint G20 Energy-Climate Communiqué was approved in Naples, Italy by G20 Ministers in charge of Energy Transition and Climate Sustainability. The joint statement, which captures the views and commitments of the G20 with respect to climate and energy, referred to and “noted” the Platform for Redesign 2020 in Paragraph 42, under the section entitled “Sharing best practices to facilitate a sustainable, resilient and inclusive recovery”.
