Russia launches work on national taxonomy for sustainable financing
Russian Ministry of Economic Development and VEB.RF are developing national taxonomy and verification criteria for sustainable financing. Draft documents were presented at a meeting of the interagency Working group on sustainable finance, December 29, 2020.
The sector of green projects will include climate related activities. VEB.RF estimates that active or planned projects with its participation worth over $8,9 bln could be recognized as green.
