Updates from Cambodia and Romania ahead of COP27
Ahead of the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP27) on 6-18 November 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, a couple of countries shared their ambitious measures to tackle both environmental and COVID-19 crises.
Cambodia provided updates on the National Vulnerability Index and Third National Communication (TNC).
Meanwhile, since its first submission in 2020, Romania shared a wide range of new measures, actions and policies on climate mitigation, climate adaptation, cross-cutting issues, other environmental issues, and international cooperation. There were also updates on existing mitigation measures on sustainable transportation, as well as the building, household and land sectors.
