RecoveryThe Low Emissions Development Strategy for Guatemala allowed the identification of the economic activities that generate the highest greenhouse gas emissions in the country, in addition to prioritizing and developing mitigation options according to the level of impact on reducing emissions. Additionally, the importance of the Strategy was establish through a participation process, but it made a new prioritization of fourteen (14) eligible actions according to certain criteria, mainly an alignment with national and international policies and instruments and that contribute to improving the economy an emission reduction vision.
